Time to go home

I've had enough of High Wycombe. I'm sorry if I offend anyone who lives there (or am I?) but it's dull. The buildings are dull, the streets are dull and don't get me started on the people.

It has nothing going for it. It has an A+E at the hospital but can we use it? no, drive another 20 odd miles to another hospital.

Anyway, as soon as I find a job in London I shall be moving back to East London. Sure it's not clean or safe and there's a lot of weird people around but it's my home.

It sounds shocking but there aren't many English/British people left in London. I'm very very proud to be an English Londoner and I think when we all get together there's an awesome vibe. Just look at the terror attacks. Everyone pulled together.

Walthamstow has so much more character. You've just got to look up at the old buildings to see the history. There's loads of little hidden gems, especially the village.

I find a lot of people in High Wycombe tell people they're from London. Why?! all they do it slag it off. "it's so dirty and full of murders and terrorists"

Look at High Wycombe.

If you take a look on www.flickr.com/georgieporge you can see some shots I took from the top of a car park. Walthamstow is only 6 or 8 miles from the city. The photos show just how close it is. I tell you what, the sight on New Years eve from that car park is awesome. You can see the BT Tower, Canary Wharf, the Gherkin Building, The London Eye and the Natwest Tower. Ace.

Although I was only 9 when we moved to High Wycombe I had my mind made up I was going back someday. Now I'm 20 and looking for a job, now is the time.

The photo up the top is one I took a couple of months ago in Walthamstow. It was a lovely sunset one evening so we went for a walk.
